Overview

This online course is designed to meet the needs of those processing international applications for work or study or those in credential evaluation roles. It will provide an insight into the Grande École system, with a key focus on incomplete long-cycle programmes. It will provide guidance on how to consider qualifications that have not been completed, taking into consideration a range of factors. There will be the opportunity to discuss and share experiences, and practise the approach using a real example.
Target audience 
This session is aimed at those dealing with higher education qualifications; such as higher education professionals, credential evaluators, and those involved with processing international applications for work or study.
Objectives
The key objectives of the training include:
  • Understand the Grande École system in France
  • Understand the make-up of long-cycle Grande École programmes
  • Increase awareness of factors to be considered within credential evaluation
  • Apply methods to assess an incomplete qualification
Support materials
Delegates will receive a copy of all materials used as well as a checklist highlighting key factors to consider when assessing incomplete awards. Delegates completing the course will also receive a UK NARIC certificate of completion.
