Spéos offers 2 professional photography programs of a short duration of 5 months, accessible as of January 2021: the Professional Photography Fundamentals and the Photojournalism program by Polka & Spéos.
Professional Photography Fundamentals
The Professional Photography Fundamentals program aims to acquire the fundamentals of studio shooting and photo-reportage. It gives an overview of the skills to master to become a professional photographer. This program is aimed for students who wish to study professional photography in a very rapid and intensive way. It takes place in Paris.
Photojournalism by Polka & Spéos
The Polka magazine, specialized in photography, and Spéos offer a training course dedicated to photojournalism. This intensive 5-month training course is designed for students who wish to acquire the fundamentals of photojournalism/documentary photography.
During this program, students acquire the basics of photo shooting whatever the situations, and learn to tell a story in different forms (press, book publishing or artistic installation). Supervised by the Spéos professors and the Polka team (including Dimitri Beck, the director of photography), the students will follow a program combining lectures, workshops and meetings with professionals and renowned photojournalists.
